To ensure a more involved holistic approach, each session is 55 mins long.

First, you sit and talk with the therapist about your areas of concern. This is followed by a full body functional movement screen to identify dysfunctional movement patterns. Based on the movement screen, the therapist tests and treats areas of neuromuscular inhibition. Following treatment, the functional movement screen is performed again to see the difference. The therapist will then prescribe individualized exercises which you will record to practice at home.

Same thing as the initial evaluation. The talking portion is shorter as it is just an update from the previous session.

It depends. Generally, a person who already does exercise will recover quicker than someone who doesn’t. A person with a more acute injury (< 2 months) recovers faster than someone with a chronic injury (>6 months). Someone who practices their exercises as prescribed will improve faster than someone who practices less than prescribed. At your initial evaluation, the therapist can give you a better individualized estimate for recovery.

Working with a highly trained and experienced therapist is essential to healing. At On2 Physical Therapy, we prefer to offer a more involved, personalized, holistic level of care and therefore do not participate with in-network providers.
To cover this level of care, unfortunately, many insurance carriers do not provide adequate reimbursement on an in-network basis. If needed, we offer flexible payment methods and out of network services to make physical therapy financially affordable for everyone.
